Services & Fees
I am fully mobile and will visit you at your home where I can easily assess the relationship between your dog and you. I will look for any unwanted behaviour that maybe present and take as long as it is necessary to help you understand everything to help your dog become the dog you want them to be.
Suited To Your Needs
Everybody has differing expectations about what they will get out of the consultation. Whether you're a first time dog owner struggling to understand the needs of your dog, or an experienced dog owner who has encountered a problem that you can't solve alone, I will adapt the session to best suit your needs. Sometimes the sessions will consist of more practical training, whilst at other sessions the emphasis is more on education with a lot of time being allocated to explaining and demonstrating what you need to know.
Satisfation Guaranteed
The consultation process normally lasts between 2 to 3 hours. I guarantee my consultations, so if you don't find your consultation to be enjoyable, educational, fun, and above all effective, then I will not charge you, however I'm confident you'll will be 100% happy, I've yet to be asked for a refund!
Reduced Rates For Further Sessions
On a more serious note - some problems can be harder to resolve than others. Whilst the majority of my clients are very happy with the results from just a single session, it may occasionally be necessary to do further training with you both. If further visits are recommended then you will find my fee is half of the initial consultation charge.
No Equipment Required
You'll require no special equipment during my consultations; more often than not I can use a standard collar and lead. However I do sometimes recommend a non-pull harness or slip lead, but my methods are always kind and positive for the dog.
Consultation Fees
I charge a flat fee of £60 per consultation. My fuel costs are included in the fee and includes the county of Dorset - approximately 25 miles in any direction of where I live, which takes me to the border with Hampshire/Somerset.
I am available to travel anywhere in the south of England but charge 45p per additional mile that I need to travel once outside of the county.
Obedience Training
I am a qualified obedience instructor and have experience working with trials training, agility, and demonstration dog training. As a result I can also offer a training service where owners only require a higher level of obedience - perhaps for a competition - heelwork, recalls, retrieves, send-aways, distance control, nose work - both search and tracking. Typically this training is charged at £15 to £20 per hour depending on where I have to travel. Please contact me for more information.
